About the role
In this role, you will support high-quality clinical research by contributing to study design, ethics and governance processes, participant recruitment and data collection—while maintaining best-practice podiatry care for research participants. You will work closely with nominated Principal Investigators and multidisciplinary teams to ensure research is conducted in accordance with NHMRC standards, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and ICH guidelines.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide key support to diabetes-related foot disease research projects undertaken by the COH Directorate, led by a nominated Principal Investigator (PI).
- Collaborate with the nominated PI to ensure that all studies are conducted strictly according to study protocols, and legal and regulatory bodies, including but not limited to: Good Clinical Practice (GCP), International Conference of Harmonization (ICH), National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research and the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research guidelines.
- Complete additional tasks as requested by the nominated PI or relevant discipline lead with the COH Directorate.
