Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $57.48 to $61.55 p.h. (Nurse Grade 6 Band 1)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity

The role of the clinical nurse midwife is to provide clinical expertise, support, and education to nursing and midwifery staff to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position.
  • Midwifery: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualifications and registrations with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of current practising certificates.
  • Demonstrate clinical skills in IV cannulation, water immersion in labour and waterbirth, perineal suturing and speculum examination. If not competent in these skills, must be willing to undertake necessary training during the term of this employment.
  • Completion of Neonatal Specific Competencies is mandatory for nursing staff working within the Neonatal Unit.
