Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service provide an extensive range of health services at more thatn 30 regional, rural and remote facilities across a geographical area of 142,900 square kilometres. The Health Service is 95 percent self-sufficient with only a small number of high- level acute services being provided in Townsville and Brisbane.
Lotus Glen Correctional Centre, located in Far North Queensland, just outside of Mareeba, is a modern, high-security correctional facility that provides secure accommodation and rehabilitation services for male inmates. The centre emphasizes safety, rehabilitation, and reintegration, offering programs for education, vocational training, mental health support, and substance abuse treatment.

About your role:
- Assist with clinical workflows, patient coordination, and administrative duties to support medical staff
- Facilitate health assessments, routine care, and health education tailored to the needs of low custody individuals
- Support therapeutic and rehabilitative health initiatives, ensuring continuity of care and program compliance
