Your new role:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead and coordinate a multi-skilled workforce and contractors to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across complex healthcare facilities. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll provide technical direction, oversee essential systems including HVAC and fire services, and ensure full compliance with statutory and safety standards. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll optimise asset performance, manage contracts, and drive continuous improvement—balancing safety, cost and quality while fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
About you:
You're a hands-on, solutions-focused leader who thrives in complex environments, confidently guiding teams and maintaining critical infrastructure to the highest standards.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and coordinate multi-skilled trade teams to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes
- Strong technical knowledge across building services (e.g. HVAC, fire systems) with a focus on compliance and asset performance
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse groups
- Analytical and proactive, with sound judgement to manage risk, drive efficiencies and continuously improve maintenance operations

About the Assets and Infrastructure Division
Metro South Maintenance Services are the incumbent maintenance provider for Metro South Health Hospitals and Health Service (MSH) Facilities, with the primary objective to manage the corrective and preventative maintenance for all MSH infrastructure and facilities. Metro South's asset management objectives define the approach for delivering maintenance outcomes and the role of Maintenance management in supporting the achievement of the organisational objectives.
