Your new role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapist (Hand Therapy) to deliver high-quality, evidence-based clinical services within a collaborative and dynamic healthcare environment. You will:
- Provide advanced hand therapy assessment, intervention and evaluation within an interprofessional team
- Apply independent clinical judgement to manage complex caseloads and support optimal patient outcomes
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives
- Supervise, mentor and support junior clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants
About you:
You are an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist with a passion for hand therapy and a commitment to clinical excellence and teamwork. You have:
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering high-level hand therapy services in a complex clinical environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across multidisciplinary teams
- Proven ability to prioritise workload, manage complex cases and contribute to patient-centred care
- Experience in supervision, mentoring and contributing to service improvement initiatives

Bayside Health Service – Metro South Health
The Bayside Occupational Therapy Department, based at Redland Hospital employs approximately 21 FTE and delivers services across Redland Hospital, Redlands Satellite Health Centre, Wynnum-Manly Gundu Pa Health Centre, Pandanus Unit, Redland Residential Care and within the community.
