Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Delivering thoughtful, evidence-informed speech pathology care that supports communication and swallowing outcomes
  • Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated, holistic care
  • Supporting service quality and improvement initiatives that strengthen patient safety and experience
  • Sharing your knowledge through supervision, education, and thoughtful clinical guidance

Let's Talk About You

You're someone who brings both skill and heart to your practice. You're curious, reflective, and motivated by making a real difference for patients and their families. You value teamwork, act with integrity, and take pride in delivering care that respects dignity while embracing innovation. Your impact is felt not just in outcomes, but in the trust you build and the confidence you help restore.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • A recognised qualification in speech pathology with current professional registration
  • Contemporary clinical skills, with the ability to apply evidence-based practice confidently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary environments
  • A commitment to ongoing learning, quality improvement, and compassionate care

You'll stand out if you have experience in regional or hospital settings and/or postgraduate study or additional clinical training.
Above all, you'll bring compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage to everything you do, helping shape care that truly matters.

This role is about empowering voices, strengthening connections, and delivering care that reflects what Darling Downs Health stands for.
