Take lead of a division where clinical excellence meets executive accountability, providing you the platform to drive genuine systemic change for Central Queensland families.
In this position, you will lead a transformative journey toward a divisional service-line model, supported by an executive cohort that deeply values integrity and professional growth. You will hold single-point accountability for a dedicated workforce of approximately 390 FTE and an operating budget of $50 million, providing you the resources to drive genuine systemic change.
You won't navigate this alone; you will guide a divisional leadership team in partnership with clinical and non-clinical leads to foster a culture of safety and excellence across our geographically dispersed services.

About the role:
- Provide executive leadership for women's, children's and families services across CQHHS, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
- Lead performance across maternity, neonatal, and paediatric services, achieving activity, quality, and financial targets.
- Direct an operating budget of approximately $50 million and lead a multidisciplinary workforce of 390 FTE.
- Drive integrated, person-centred models of care to improve clinical outcomes and service integration.
- Lead service redesign and innovation to standardise models of care and clinical pathways across all sites.
- Provide professional leadership for nursing and midwifery, promoting high standards of clinical practice and accountability.
- Maintain a visible leadership presence across facilities to strengthen clinical governance and support staff.
About you:
- You hold a tertiary qualification in nursing and/or midwifery and maintain current AHPRA registration.
- You possess substantial senior leadership experience in managing complex clinical service lines within a large health service environment.
- You have a proven ability to lead performance across activity, quality, and financial outcomes in a high-demand environment.
- You are an expert in clinical governance, safety, and quality, with a track record of embedding robust governance frameworks.
- You demonstrate extensive experience in workforce leadership, including capability development and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- You hold highly developed financial acumen, with experience managing significant budgets and resource allocation.
- You can operate effectively within a divisional and matrix leadership model, influencing across disciplines and organisational boundaries.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $231,244 p.a. is comprised of:
- A salary of $202,675 p.a.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
