About the role
Permanent full-time opportunity to apply an expert level of knowledge and skills to the development of clinical food service systems at The Prince Charles Hospital, in conjunction with other Metro North facilities, and other customers of the department and Queensland Health to achieve excellence in patient care, education and research.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Strategically manage the interface between clinical food services and operational food services, with consideration for patient outcomes and corporate principles, including cost, efficiency and standardisation across MNHHS.
- Lead and operationally manage Food Services at The Prince Charles Hospital across multiple clinical streams and specialities.
- Deliver food service and clinical consultancy services with minimal direct supervision to health practitioners, foodservice staff, foodservice coordinators and key stakeholders in order to deliver high quality and effective health services.
- Provide high level advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other relevant stakeholders on leading service quality and improvement activities, clinical service development and delivery, and contributing to formal research.
