Your new role:
The Clinical Nurse provides advanced clinical leadership in the assessment, planning, coordination and delivery of complex Addiction and Mental Health care. Working autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure safe, person-centred and high-quality care aligned with clinical standards and governance frameworks.
You will lead and support nursing staff, contribute to service coordination and quality improvement activities, and support education and capability development across the workforce. This role requires strong clinical judgement, problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex presentations while driving best practice and improved patient outcomes.
About you:
You are an experienced and confident Clinical Nurse with advanced capability in delivering high-quality, person-centred care in complex Addiction and Mental Health settings. You will bring:
- Proven clinical expertise in assessing, planning and managing complex mental health presentations
- Strong clinical leadership with experience supporting, mentoring and supervising nursing teams
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure clinical environments
- Commitment to quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and ongoing professional development
