Role details
The BreastScreen Service at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Senior Radiographer (Mobile Bus) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
The purpose of this role is to deliver a high level of client care and advanced expertise in the breast imaging screening and assessment services provided by BreastScreen Queensland Mackay Service. Staff are expected to work in the fixed screening and assessment clinic and at mobile sites across the BreastScreen Queensland Mackay Service area, which includes the Mackay Whitsunday regions.
About the Team
The BreastScreen Queensland Mackay Service operates within the guidelines of the BreastScreen Australia and BreastScreen Queensland Programs. These programs provide a free population-based mammography screening and assessment service to women over 40 years of age.
The service seeks to provide a first-class service to women, employing state of the art equipment and providing high level training for all staff members. Staff operates as part of a multi-disciplinary team with a philosophy of excellence.
The service screens approximately 8,000 women annually at fourteen (14) screening sites within the Mackay, Hinterland and Whitsunday areas.
The clinic hours are 0700 - 1630 Monday, Tuesday (sometimes we have assessment clinics), Wednesday(late clinic every 2nd) Wednesday of month open till 5.30), Thursday and Friday, 0700 - 1630, and two Saturdays per month 0800 - 1300. Full time staff accrues an DO every nineteen (19) days.
