Your new role:
As the Registered Nurse within the Peri-Operative Department, you will deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes by:
- Providing high-quality nursing care across Peri-Operative Services including Theatre, Anaesthetics, PACU and Pre-Operative Services
- Undertaking comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, implementation and evaluation
- Applying evidence-based practice and critical thinking to support positive clinical outcomes
- Collaborating effectively with nursing, medical and allied health teams in a fast-paced environment
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives, patient safety standards and clinical governance activities
- Contributing to education, mentorship and ongoing professional development within the team
- Demonstrating leadership, accountability and adaptability in delivering patient-centred care
About you:
You will be a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse with strong Peri-Operative experience and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care with:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and experience within a Peri-Operative environment
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making and time management skills
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- The ability to adapt in a dynamic clinical environment while maintaining patient-focused care
- A positive team approach with integrity, accountability and professionalism

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
