Tell me more... Weipa is a remote coastal town on Cape York's western coast which functions as the key service centre for surrounding communities. Set among beaches, rivers and mangroves, it is known for outstanding fishing, boating, 4WD adventures and spectacular sunsets, along with cultural attractions and mine tours.

As the Outreach Pharmacist you will deliver safe, reliable and high‑quality pharmacy services to patients and staff, primarily based at Weipa Hospital and supported by a broader multi‑site pharmacy team. In this role, you will be the key contact for nursing, medical and frontline staff on all medication‑related matters, ensuring patients in primary care receive timely clinical review and optimised medication profiles within electronic systems. Working closely with the on‑site Clinical Operations Pharmacist, you will also contribute to effective pharmacy operations and continuity of care by supporting medication management for inpatients during admission and ensure accurate, up‑to‑date medication information at discharge.
