Your new role:
In this dynamic clinical education role, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and facilitate evidence-based learning to support high-quality patient care and workforce capability development. You will:
- Deliver clinical facilitation, education and support to nursing staff across Kidney Services and Specialist Outpatient Department areas
- Provide advanced clinical leadership in the management of patients with complex renal and outpatient care needs
- Support staff capability through orientation, simulation training, professional development and competency assessment
- Contribute to quality improvement, research, clinical innovation and the implementation of contemporary nursing practices
About you:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse with strong renal nursing expertise and a passion for education and leadership. You have:
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and recent experience in Haemodialysis and/or Peritoneal Dialysis nursing practice
- Proven ability to educate, mentor and support clinicians within a complex healthcare environment
- Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills with a collaborative and patient-centred approach
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous improvement and fostering a positive learning culture

Unit Profile
Kidney Service
Kidney Service include Haemodialysis (HD), Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) Unit and the Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Service located at Logan Hospital, and Haemodialysis located at Eight Mile Plains Health Centre. The Kidney Service provides provide advanced assessment, management and care to people across the continuum of kidney disease at both Logan Hospital and Eight Mile Plains Health Centre.
