We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Nurse Manager - Candidate Care to coordinate recruitment and onboarding for nursing and midwifery staff across Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service.

This role is suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building connections, and brings strong clinical knowledge into workforce coordination.

About the Role

As the Associate Nurse Manager - Candidate Care, you will support nursing and midwifery recruitment and workforce coordination across TCHHS.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Support candidates throughout the recruitment journey
  • Work collaboratively with hiring managers and workforce teams
  • Contribute to workforce planning and service delivery
  • Support safe, high-quality care through effective workforce coordination

This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same. You'll work across primary health care centres, rural and remote hospitals, integrated health services and community teams - helping connect healthcare professionals with meaningful careers across Torres and Cape.

About You

You will demonstrate:

  • A strong clinical background in nursing or midwifery
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to delivering a positive candidate experience
