About the role

WMH is delivering real, measurable improvement in how our people experience work. Our recent all staff survey shows stronger engagement, growing participation and positive movement across almost all cultural measures, demonstrating that focused effort can create meaningful cultural change.

This role is accountable for turning insight into action and delivering the workforce initiatives connected to the Workforce and Employee Engagement Plans. You will lead the implementation of priority initiatives that strengthen engagement, build trust, and embed equity and inclusion into everyday practice. Working closely with leaders and teams, you will ensure the plan drives practical change that improves the employee experience across roles, professions, and locations. 

By embedding engagement, inclusion, and shared accountability into how we work, this role directly supports the West Moreton Health Strategic Plan and helps create a workplace where our people feel respected, connected, and proud to deliver safe, high-quality care to our community.

About you

As our ideal candidate you will clearly demonstrate your expertise in the following:

  • Knowledge and experience in delivering contemporary evidence based approaches for the following: workforce redesign, employee engagement, culture and change management and organisational development relevant to a complex, multi-disciplinary organisation.
  • A record of delivering successful high impact people strategies and solutions with solid project management experience of organisational wide significance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen, including the ability to work within a team as well as consult with a diverse range of stakeholders to build positive relationships.
  • Proven track record in effectively collating, synthesising and evaluating a range of datasets to inform decision-making on complex workforce issues.
  • The ability to use evidence and feedback to track progress, adjust approaches, and sustain momentum.
