The role 

The Technical Delivery Manager will lead and manage the development and implementation of large scale and complex technical solutions and provide expert technical advice whilst ensuring alignment with contemporary Information Management (IM)/Information Communication Technology (ICT) frameworks.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead the design and implementation of technical solutions, ensuring alignment with best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks
  • Specify and design large or complex systems and select appropriate design standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures, and ensure effective application
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of technical specialisms and be responsible for the provision of expert advice regarding their application
  • Oversee and lead the assessment, analysis, development, publication, implementation and compliance of all program/project(s) deliverables and related standards and procedures at an enterprise level

About you

We are searching for someone who:

  • Demonstrated ability in leading, managing, and mentoring a multi‑disciplinary team providing high‑level specialist advice on, and support across the following key technology domains within a large, customer‑focused organisation.
    • System Integration
    • Business Analysis
    • Application Development
    • Testing
  • Demonstrated experience in leading the implementation of large or complex systems and providing expert knowledge in relevant design standards, techniques and methods and tools for large scale complex organisations. Demonstrated experience in the implementation of healthcare applications and related integration.
  • Demonstrated experience in the assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation planning of changes for large complex IM/ICT program/project(s) as well as their transition into operations.
  • Demonstrated excellent analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills with a proven record in the assessment and evaluation of technical requirements within a complex IM/ICT environment.
  • Well developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a DevOps environment using Agile methodologies would be highly desirable
