About the role
This position offers a permanent part-time opportunity to apply advanced clinical psychology expertise within a specialised audiology setting, supporting patients through assessment, intervention, and integrated care, while contributing to team leadership, supervision, and service development.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- To provide high level, evidence-based and best practice clinical psychology services, in both individual and group format, to patients with Tinnitus.
- To provide clinical psychological assessments and diagnosis of patients awaiting surgery for cochlear ear implant.
- Apply clinical knowledge and skills Senior Psychologistin accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards and the application of evidence-based practice, with infrequent clinical practice supervision.
- Work cooperatively and effectively with patients, their families and caregivers, as a member of a multidisciplinary a team.
