We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse to our Acute Rehabilitation Unit for temporary backfill opportunities.
The Acute Rehabilitation Unit is a 25-bed unit dedicated to providing patient centred, evidenced based care through a multidisciplinary team-based model to acute rehabilitation patients at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
The Clinical Nurse reports to the Nurse Unit Manager of the Acute Rehabilitation Unit.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Values.
- Assumes responsibility for professional leadership for a ward, service or unit in the absence of the Nurse Grade 7.
- Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
- Provides leadership in clinical decision making to give and/or coordinate care to particular recipients of healthcare services.
Remuneration comprising salary rates: $57.48 - $61.55 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1) (Fixed term temporary part time positions available for periods of leave relieve over 12 months) Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
