Your new role:
Join the Metro South Palliative Care Service and play an important role supporting healthcare teams to deliver compassionate and high-quality patient care. In this varied administration role, you'll provide timely and accurate support across daily operations while contributing to a professional, welcoming and efficient environment.
In this role you will:
- Provide accurate patient registration and administrative support
- Coordinate scheduling, data entry and document management
- Prepare meeting minutes, formatting and general correspondence
- Maintain stationery, clinical supplies and office equipment
- Support quality improvement and efficient service delivery
About you:
You are an organised and proactive administration professional who enjoys supporting teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You bring strong communication skills, attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
You will bring:
- Previous administration or healthcare administration experience
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence using administrative systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision

About us:
MSPCS provides specialist palliative care utilising the model for population-based care developed by Palliative Care Australia. MSPCS provides direct care in the Canossa Palliative Care Unit and Wynnum Manly Palliative Care Unit (WMPCU), consultative and/or direct care for patients in all hospitals in the Metro South Hospital and Health Service and provides community - based specialist palliative care across the district. Community services, including in-reach consultatory service to Residential Aged Care Facilities, are based at Brisbane South, Redland and Logan & Beaudesert. The MSPCS team is an interdisciplinary group of healthcare professionals who deliver collaborative patient-centred care in partnership with acute, domiciliary, aged care health providers and general practitioners.
