About the role
Provide evidence-based nursing care in a Minor Injury and Illness Clinic, supporting assessment, treatment, patient education, and safe multidisciplinary care for patients presenting with acute, non-critical conditions.
Key accountabilities
• Deliver comprehensive nursing assessment, treatment, and evaluation for patients with minor injuries and illnesses
• Respond to changes in patient condition using sound clinical judgement and escalation pathways
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery, independence, and health literacy
• Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow and care delivery
• Contribute to quality improvement, policy adherence, and continuous learning within the clinical environment
