About the role
Deliver occupational therapy services within the Brighton Rehabilitation Unit to support functional recovery and safe discharge planning for adult patients in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation setting.
Key accountabilities
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation within a multidisciplinary team.
- Support patients in achieving functional goals through structured therapy programs and discharge planning.
- Apply increasing clinical reasoning and decision-making independence appropriate to experience level.
- Contribute to caseload management, service planning, and coordinated patient care with the MDT.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, workload data, and participate in service improvement activities.
