Your new role:

This is an exciting opportunity to provide high quality, evidence-based mental health and discipline specific services within the Logan Youth Step Up Step Down (SUSD) Program. Working within an interprofessional team, you will support young people through assessment, intervention, recovery planning and ongoing therapeutic care.

Deliver patient-centred mental health assessment, intervention and discharge planning within a recovery-oriented framework

Manage a varied caseload while contributing to safe, high quality and evidence-based clinical practice

Work collaboratively with consumers, families, carers and multidisciplinary stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes

Participate in clinical education, supervision, service improvement and quality initiatives within the Youth SUSD team

 

About you:

You are a compassionate and motivated clinician who thrives in a collaborative mental health environment and is committed to supporting young people through recovery-focused care.

Demonstrated ability to provide high quality, evidence-based mental health and discipline specific clinical services

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within an interprofessional team

Commitment to ongoing professional development, reflective practice and continuous learning

Ability to contribute to service improvement, student supervision and positive team culture

Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services provide inpatient, hospital-based and community mental health and community alcohol and drug services for all age groups across a number of campuses.
