Your new role:
As the Admin Coordinator – After Hours Unit, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of after-hours medical services across Logan & Beaudesert Health Service by:
- Coordinating and maintaining after-hours ward call rosters to ensure appropriate staffing coverage
- Managing pre-term inductions and orientation processes for medical staff
- Monitoring mandatory training, assessments and compliance requirements
- Assisting with payroll discrepancy resolution, reporting and workforce administration
- Supporting operational improvements, procedural updates and day-to-day team coordination
- Managing Medtasker devices and ensuring equipment availability and functionality
- Providing diary, email and administrative support to the After Hours Clinical Lead
- Delivering high-quality customer service and fostering a collaborative team environment
About you:
You are an organised and proactive administration professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and can demonstrate:
- Experience coordinating rostering, workforce administration or operational support functions
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy across reporting, compliance and payroll processes
- The ability to problem-solve and work independently while contributing positively to a team
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to respectful, inclusive workplace practices
- Confidence using databases, workforce systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of medical workforce processes, awards or rostering principles will be highly regarded
