About us:
The Health Service is the primary provider of health services to residents of the Cairns, Tablelands and Cassowary Coast regions with a population of over 250,000 people, as well as providing specialist services to the Torres Strait and Cape York region. Cairns Hospital is the primary referral hospital for Far North Queensland.

About your role:
In this role you will.....
- Deliver a high level of customer service, demonstrating empathy patience and understanding by various modes including face to face, verbal, or written communication.
- Ability to use systems such as OpTML (Opus Travel Management Link), HBCIS (Hospital Based Corporate Information System), FAMMIS (Finance and Materials Management Information System), Microsoft word, excel and outlook programs, and additional information systems as required.
- Participate in training new staff, team meetings, attend in-services and perform other duties as directed.
- Liaise with relevant authorities both verbally and in writing on operational and policy matters pertaining to services provided by the department to patients, staff and relevant stakeholders ensuring compliance with HHS objectives and responsibilities.
