We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) Research to our Clinical Research Unit.

The CNC Research provides expert advice, education, and support for our clinical researchers to ensure that clinical research conducted within Sunshine Coast Health is of high quality and complies with all relevant clinical and governance guidelines including the National Clinical Trials Framework. As part of this, the CNC Research will lead action to ensure that Sunshine Coast Health exceeds the requirements for accreditation against the National Clinical Trials framework, including preparing our clinical trials workforce for the accreditation process.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide strategic leadership to ensure that clinical research conducted within Sunshine Coast Health is of high quality and conforms with all relevant standards including the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research, The International Council for Harmonisation, Guideline for Good Clinical Practice, and the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework (NCTGF) amongst others.
- Support research teams across Sunshine Coast Health to ensure that processes are in place to continuously meet accreditation requirements under the NCTGF.
- Coordinate the development, maintenance, and evaluation of clinical trial governance systems, accreditation plans, and risk register to optimise clinical trial conduct within Sunshine Coast Health, working collaboratively across clinical departments and clinical trial groups.
- Provide education leadership and content delivery in conduct of clinical trials, including investigator-led and collaborative trials.
Remuneration value up to $173 368 p.a., comprising salary between $139 951 - $151 949 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NG7).
