Your new role:
As the Rostering Officer within Internal Medicine, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of safe, effective and well-coordinated medical workforce operations across Logan Hospital by:
- Coordinating and maintaining medical staff rosters, including on-call and after-hours arrangements
- Providing advice and support regarding rostering, payroll, award conditions and entitlements
- Liaising closely with Clinical Directors and key stakeholders to resolve roster and workforce issues
- Managing time and attendance records and assisting with payroll processing activities
- Monitoring roster compliance, leave allocations and workforce data accuracy
- Supporting onboarding and orientation processes for new Medical Officers
- Assisting staff with navigating myHR, payroll and rostering systems
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with legislative and policy requirements
About you:
You are a proactive and organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong working relationships, with:
- Experience in rostering, workforce coordination, payroll or administration environments
- Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, industrial awards, agreements and workforce policies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Well-developed communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience using rostering, payroll or HR systems, along with strong MS Office skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work both autonomously and collaboratively
- A professional, confidential and customer-focused approach to supporting staff and leaders
- A strong commitment to integrity, teamwork and delivering high-quality service outcomes
