What your day could look like
As Team Leader of Evolve Therapeutic Services, you'll play a pivotal role in strengthening mental health outcomes for vulnerable children and young people. From guiding clinical direction to shaping service delivery, you'll lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver care that is responsive, recovery-focused and deeply impactful.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Leading high-quality care delivery by guiding clinical decision-making and ensuring best-practice therapeutic support for young people with complex mental health needs
- Empowering and developing your team through coaching, supervision and fostering a positive, high-performing culture
- Driving service improvement and outcomes by aligning operations, resources and performance with strategic priorities
- Building strong partnerships with families, carers, and external stakeholders to achieve meaningful, coordinated care
Let's Talk About You
You're a confident and compassionate leader who brings both clinical expertise and genuine care to your work. You know how to navigate complexity, support your team through challenges, and make thoughtful decisions that prioritise the wellbeing of young people and their support networks. Whether you're guiding a team through change or advocating for better outcomes, you lead with integrity, courage and purpose—and take pride in creating lasting impact.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Relevant tertiary qualification with current professional registration or membership
- Advanced experience in mental health practice, ideally with children and young people
- Strong leadership capability, including team management and service delivery oversight
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
You'll stand out from the crowd if you bring experience in multidisciplinary leadership or service improvement initiatives, and/or additional training or postgraduate study in mental health or leadership.
Above all, you'll bring the values we live by at Darling Downs Health—compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage—into everything you do, helping shape better outcomes for young people and their communities.
