What your day could look like
As a Senior Audiologist, you'll play a critical role in improving hearing health outcomes across the Darling Downs community. From providing advanced clinical care to shaping how audiology services evolve, you'll work alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team to deliver care that truly matters.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Delivering high-level diagnostic and rehabilitation services that positively change the lives of children and families
- Applying expert clinical judgement to complex cases, supporting safe, timely and person-centred care
- Leading and contributing to service improvement initiatives that strengthen quality, access and outcomes
- Mentoring and supporting colleagues and students, helping build capability across the service
Let's talk about you!
You're a dedicated clinician who brings both expertise and compassion to your work. You value integrity in decision-making, dignity in care, and the courage to lead change when it improves outcomes. What drives you is seeing children thrive, supporting families through important moments, and leaving services better than you found them. You're not just delivering care—you're shaping the future of audiology in a regional community.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Recognised tertiary qualification in audiology with current professional accreditation
- Advanced clinical experience delivering paediatric audiology services with confidence and autonomy
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset when working with families and teams
- A commitment to evidence-based practice, learning, and continuous improvement
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in regional or rural services and/or postgraduate study or advanced training.
Above all, you'll bring the values we live by at Darling Downs Health—compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage—helping deliver care you're proud of and outcomes our community relies on.
