About the role
As part of the Medical Education Team, the Principal Medical Education Officer provides leadership and educational expertise in delivering medical education to prevocational medical graduates, while ensuring all training and accreditation requirements continue to be met.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values.
- Contribute to the operations of the Medical Education Unit as directed by the Director Clinical Training.
- Participate in strategic planning activities and assist in the direction of the Medical Education Unit.
- Negotiate, consult and liaise effectively with individuals, groups and multidisciplinary teams to establish and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships.
