What your day could look like

As the Allied Health Workforce Development Officer – Data and Informatics, you'll help connect people, data and digital systems to improve how care is planned, delivered and evaluated across Darling Downs Health. Your work supports clinicians, strengthens safety and quality, and ensures allied health voices shape digital solutions that matter to patients and communities.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Designing and improving digital workflows that support safe, effective allied health care across diverse settings
  • Partnering with clinicians, leaders and digital teams to translate data into meaningful insights and better decisions
  • Leading improvement and informatics initiatives that enhance data quality, clinical practice and service outcomes
  • Building capability through coaching, education and shared learning, helping teams feel confident using digital systems

  • Qualification and registration in an allied health profession (or eligibility for relevant professional membership)
  • Experience applying clinical informatics or digital solutions within healthcare environments
  • Strong communication and change skills, with the ability to influence across multidisciplinary teams
  • A solutions‑focused mindset and commitment to continuous learning and improvement

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have postgraduate study or advanced experience in clinical informatics, digital health, education or service improvement.

Most importantly, you're passionate about using data and digital capability to improve care, support clinicians, and deliver meaningful impact for regional communities—guided by compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage.
