About the Team
The Medical Workforce and Education Service (MWES) support medical officers at Children's Health Queensland from intern through to consultants. The service provides medical workforce functions including recruitment, credentialing, rostering, education and training support across the organisation.
Within MWES, the Medical Education Unit is a multidisciplinary team that coordinates medical officer onboarding, education and training programs, assessments, accreditation activities and statewide education events. The team works closely with clinicians, educators and administrators to ensure education activities are well coordinated and delivered to a high standard.
About the Role
This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in supporting paediatric medical education and training within a specialist statewide health service.
As the Paediatric Training Support Officer, you will provide essential administrative and program support to the Medical Education Unit, enabling the delivery of high‑quality education, training, assessments and professional development activities for doctors in training.
You will work closely with a range of clinicians, educators and education staff, contributing to the smooth coordination of education programs, meetings, assessments and events. This role is well suited to an organised and adaptable administrator who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy and professionalism, and thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment.
