The purpose of this position is to provide advice and content knowledge of the Queensland Health SAP HR/Payroll and rostering solution to ensure maintenance, support, system issue and problem resolution activities are completed to meet service delivery and payroll production requirements.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Undertake key activities in providing specialist support for the Queensland Health payrun.
  • Assess logged issues and liaise with stakeholders to solve problems and recommend modifications to improve system effectiveness.
  • Support the transition of enhancements and fixes from the release environment into the production environment (including testing) in a seamless manner by understanding the impact of changes to employee pay outcomes and providing heightened support.

Key competencies/suitability (role specific criteria and personal qualities):

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills using SAP HR in Organisational Management, Payroll (preferably Australian-based system), HR to Fi/Co integration, Time Management, Personnel Administration, CATS and ESS/MSS (myHR).
  • Experience in analysing and solving business issues that relate to the delivery of the pay production process and contributing to the formulation, documentation and implementation of work procedures and configuration guidelines that recognise system and business process integration points that are critical in payroll production.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel, to produce accurate, well‑structured documents and spreadsheets.
