About us:

Our new Cardiac Investigations delivers a comprehensive range of diagnostic cardiology services in collaboration with multidisciplinary medical, nursing, technical and operational teams to provide high-quality patient care. The unit currently offers ECGs, Holter and event monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, exercise stress testing, echocardiography and stress echocardiography.

With the completion of the new Cardiac Hybrid Theatre project in July 2026, the service will expand to support the Cardiac Catheterisation and Electrophysiology Labs, including coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention procedures.

About the role:

  • Lead the delivery of advanced CCL radiology services and provide clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop essential resources, policies, and procedures during the critical commissioning phase of the new hybrid theatre.
  • Manage accreditation requirements under the Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme (DIAS) and coordinate quality improvement activities.
  • Facilitate clinical supervision and lead research initiatives to build capability and clinical excellence across the service.

About you:

  • You hold a degree in Radiography, current AHPRA registration, and the eligibility to obtain a Queensland radiation use licence.
  • You provide specialist-level expertise in Cardiac Catheterisation and Electrophysiology to solve complex clinical and novel issues.
  • You lead with influence, utilizing advanced professional judgment to manage conflict and drive a positive team culture.
  • You commit to lifelong learning and clinical excellence through the provision of education, research, and professional supervision.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $172,615 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $73.12 - $76.30 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
