This represents a rare and compelling opportunity to influence the future of specialist care delivery in Far North Queensland. Cairns Hospital is seeking a highly experienced consultant immunologist to provide expert clinical services and uphold excellence in patient care across the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service. The role will focus on the diagnosis and management of complex immune-mediated conditions, ensuring the highest standards of evidence-based practice and multidisciplinary collaboration.

The Cairns Hospital Immunology Service provides comprehensive care for patients across the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service, including the management of allergic, autoimmune, and immunodeficiency disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This is an opportunity for a specialist immunologist to contribute to the development of immunology services in Far North Queensland and support improved patient outcomes across the region.
About your new role:
In your new role you will……
- Support the Clinical Director in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care that respects each individuals needs.
- Communicate effectively with clinic staff and contribute positively as a collaborative team member.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and legally compliant patient records.
