About the Team
The Oncology Services Group at Queensland Children's Hospital (QCH) is an active member of national and international collaborative research groups and partners with pharmaceutical companies to conduct clinical trials for childhood cancer and haematology disorders. The Oncology Research Office is responsible for implementing and coordinating clinical trials in accordance with the various international, national, and institutional guidelines.
The Oncology Services Group at Queensland Children's Hospital is an active member of national and international collaborative research groups and partners with pharmaceutical companies to provide high-quality research services to children with cancer and haematological disorders across Queensland and northern New South Wales.
About the Role
- Lead and coordinate a portfolio of paediatric, adolescent and young adult clinical research projects
- Coordinate, manage the education, supervision of Clinical Trial Coordinators, and oversee research activities to ensure all aspects of research are conducted within the laws and regulations of the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research, the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research, Good Clinical Practice and Queensland Health Research Management Policy
- Provide expert advice and high-level support to staff within and outside the research unit regarding clinical trial management specifically for paediatric cancer.
