Your new role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead purchasing, inventory and food safety operations within a busy hospital Food Services environment, supporting the delivery of a safe, efficient and high-quality Room Service on Demand model.

• Coordinate end-to-end purchasing and procurement activities for patient food services and retail operations, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and value-for-money principles.
• Oversee the Food Safety Program, including audits, inspections, corrective actions and compliance with legislative and accreditation standards.
• Monitor stock levels, supplier performance and operational risks to maintain continuity of service and support efficient food service delivery.
• Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, staff training and operational leadership across Food Services.

About you:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong food safety and procurement experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare food services.

• Demonstrated experience managing food safety and quality assurance processes within a high-risk food service or healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management and supplier coordination, with the ability to maintain accurate records and resolve operational issues effectively.
• Highly developed analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities and support operational excellence.
• Proven ability to train, guide and support staff while fostering a collaborative, safe and compliant workplace culture aligned with organisational values.
