Your new role:
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant – Home Therapies, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and specialist expertise across home-based renal therapies, supporting safe, high-quality patient outcomes and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate advanced nursing care for home haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients
- Provide expert clinical consultancy, education and mentorship to nursing and multidisciplinary teams
- Drive evidence-based practice, quality improvement initiatives and service innovation within renal services
- Collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager and broader healthcare team to support operational and clinical outcomes
About you:
You are an experienced renal nursing professional with advanced clinical expertise, strong leadership capability and a commitment to delivering person-centred care in a complex healthcare environment.
Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge in renal home therapies, including peritoneal dialysis and home haemodialysis
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and support nursing teams within a multidisciplinary environment
- Strong communication, clinical decision-making and stakeholder engagement skills
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), with postgraduate renal qualifications highly regarded

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
