Your new role:
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant – Child and Youth Mental Health Service, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and specialist consultation liaison support across paediatric inpatient units. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver expert mental health nursing care, guide best practice and support safe, high-quality outcomes for children, young people and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced clinical nursing expertise and consultation liaison support for children and young people with complex mental health needs.
- Provide leadership, education and mentorship to nursing and multidisciplinary teams to support evidence-based, person-centred care.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive quality improvement, clinical governance and service innovation initiatives.
- Support safe and effective care planning, assessment, risk management and continuity of care across the patient journey.

You are a confident and compassionate clinical leader with advanced child and youth mental health nursing experience and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
