About the role
As a Data Manager, you will provide expert leadership in data management, governance and reporting across a complex, statewide virtual clinical service. Reporting to the Queensland Telestroke Service (QTS) Clinical Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy and consistency of data used to support clinical care, performance monitoring, research and executive decision-making.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships across the QTS network and partner services.
- Provide expert guidance to clinical and non-clinical staff across QTS, Digital Metro North, and Hospital and Health Services in relation to accurate data capture, including the development of sustainable processes, education, and training.
- Lead the examination and validation of data integrity across the QTS network to support reporting requirements for governance, executive, and service performance purposes.
- Undertake complex data cleansing, analysis, reporting, and audit activities as required.
- Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve data and reporting frameworks to support organisational performance and decision making.
