About the work unit / facility

Join our Respiratory Protection Program (RPP) and play a vital role in keeping staff safe in high risk clinical areas. This front facing position delivers respiratory fit testing and checks for approved P2/N95 respirators, supporting staff who implement airborne precautions every day.

Competitive salary and benefits:

  • Salary range: $69,486 to $72,833 p.a. (OO3)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:

  • Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate. Queensland Health will facilitate applicants obtaining the above National Police Certificate.
  • Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
  • Travel by light aircraft may be required.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
