What you'll do
As the Business Analyst, you will review business processes, architectures, designs and project plans to support the delivery of business solutions for large, complex projects and programs of work; lead investigative activities to elicit and document requirements by facilitating discussions with internal and external stakeholders (both clinical and technical); capture and analyse “As-Is” and “To-Be” business process models using approved methods and tools; develop clear business and software requirements specifications for IM/ICT initiatives and maintain end-to-end requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle; liaise with the test team to ensure requirements are accurately incorporated into testing deliverables; contribute to stakeholder engagement by supporting assessment activities, developing stakeholder matrices and providing ongoing stakeholder management; identify and consider market and environmental trends, business strategies and objectives to articulate the business benefits of alternative approaches; and apply organisational project management frameworks to plan and complete project activities.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Demonstrated experience delivering business analysis activities within IM/ICT projects, preferably in the healthcare industry. (SFIA Skill: BUAN: Level 4)
- Strong capability in capturing and analysing ‘As-Is' and ‘To-Be' business process models across large organisations, including use of BPMN. (SFIA Skill: BSMO: Level 4)
- Sound knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools and techniques, with the ability to provide advice aligned with BABOK. (SFIA Skill: METL: Level 4)
- Effective communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build strong working relationships; experience with Cerner Millennium is highly desirable. (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing / Collaborative working)
