What you'll do
In this role, you will lead and deliver statewide allied health workforce initiatives focused on workforce planning, clinical education, leadership and digital innovation. You will manage complex projects and provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders on allied health workforce initiatives and service improvement. You will build strong partnerships across the health sector and develop high-quality reports, plans and communication materials to support workforce capability across Queensland Health.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Demonstrated high level knowledge of Health Practitioner disciplines and experience in the delivery of workforce and allied health service delivery.
- Demonstrated high level knowledge and ability to manage successful outcomes in complex projects and initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to provide authoritative advice to senior management on a range of complex workforce planning, reform and professional issues.
- Demonstrated ability to actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices, including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour.
Mandatory qualifications, registrations and other requirements
- A formal qualification in an eligible Health Practitioner Profession (as listed in the Health Practitioners and Dental Officers (Queensland Health Certified Agreement (no. 4) 2019)) from a recognised tertiary institution which will permit registration with the relevant professional registration board, or eligibility for membership/accreditation with a professional association.
- Travel may be a requirement of this position.
