Role details
The Medical Imaging team at the Moranbah Hospital is seeking applications for a Senior Radiographer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
You will apply your radiographic and CT expertise to deliver safe, high‑quality and patient‑focused imaging services in accordance with legislative requirements, professional standards and MHHS policies.
You will be responsible for performing a range of radiographic and CT examinations, demonstrating sound professional judgement, effective communication and a strong commitment to radiation safety and quality practices. You will contribute to establishing workflows, supporting service development, and participating in quality improvement activities associated with the CT service.
About the Team
The Medical Imaging Services at Mackay Hospital and Health Service (MHHS) provides essential diagnostic imaging services across the Mackay, Whitsundays and Coalfields regions, supporting patient care in both hospital and rural community settings. The service plays a critical role in delivering timely and high‑quality diagnostic imaging to support clinical decision‑making and patient outcomes.
In Moranbah, Medical Imaging services support the local community and contribute to improved access to diagnostic services closer to home.
