Your new role:
As an Administration Officer within the Medical Imaging Department, you will play a key role in delivering efficient administrative support and exceptional customer service to patients, visitors and healthcare professionals by:
- Managing patient appointments, registrations and billing processes accurately and efficiently
- Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries within the department
- Supporting the Medical Imaging team in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism when liaising with patients and staff
- Using hospital information systems and department software to support daily operations
- Contributing to a positive team culture focused on high-quality patient care and service excellence
- Ensuring compliance with departmental procedures, workplace health and safety requirements and organisational values
About you:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused administration professional who thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment with:
- Proven administration experience with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service with empathy and professionalism
- Confidence using computer systems and the ability to quickly learn hospital software applications
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to workplace safety, inclusion, equity and ethical behaviour
- Medical terminology or medical typing experience highly regarded but not essential

Logan Hospital:
Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
