About the role
Provide strategic workplace relations advice across Metro North Health, leading complex industrial matters and supporting senior decision-making. Drive high-quality case management, advocacy, and workforce solutions in a dynamic and high-risk environment.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Lead and manage complex workplace relations cases, including disputes, appeals, and unfair dismissal matters
- Provide expert advice on industrial relations, legislation, awards, and workforce management issues
- Represent the organisation in industrial forums, including preparing submissions and advocacy in tribunals
- Support senior leaders with high-level briefings, research, and strategic workforce advice
- Coach and mentor staff while contributing to capability development and continuous improvement initiatives
