About the role
Deliver high-level occupational therapy services within a specialist mental health service for consumers with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Provide clinical leadership, advanced assessment, and intervention to support complex needs and improve outcomes.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide specialist occupational therapy assessment, intervention, and clinical advice for individuals with complex mental health and developmental needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to support integrated, patient-centred care
- Deliver high-level clinical leadership, education, and supervision to staff and students
- Apply advanced clinical judgement and evidence-based practice to support complex decision-making
- Contribute to service improvement, research, and development of innovative care practices
