About the role
Temporary full-time opportunity to respond to general customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate information and assistance to clients and staff to facilitate efficient service delivery within the dynamic environment of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Services.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly and confidently with patients, members of the public and facility staff, face-to-face and via telephony services, asking questions, responding to enquires and providing accurate information
- Confidently execute required work through the utilisation of information systems including Microsoft Office Suite, Hospital Based Corporate Information System (HBCIS), Enterprise System Management (ESM), Electronic Booking System (EBS), Q-Flow, Interpreter Services, Smart Referrals, integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR), Message Media, Amazon Connect and RiskMan.
- Proficiently complete tasks associated with bookings for appointments including admissions and discharges, managing cancellations, outcomes, confirmations, ongoing verifications, rescheduling and removals from the waiting list using the relevant information systems, ensuring alignment with the Implementation Standards and seeking involvement of the MDT as necessary
