The purpose of this role is to provide pre-analytical and post-analytical support services within the Haematology Department, assisting with laboratory operations, specimen processing and specialised investigation procedures to support high-quality patient care.
What you'll do
In this role you will perform pre-analytical and post-analytical laboratory duties, support General Haematology and Special Investigations workflows, assist medical officers with bone marrow collection procedures, maintain laboratory records and quality systems, contribute to service improvement activities, support document control and quality compliance requirements, liaise with laboratory staff and stakeholders, and assist in maintaining efficient pathology operations within a tertiary laboratory environment.
