Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse at Marie Rose Centre, you will provide advanced emergency nursing care for patients with complex clinical needs while demonstrating strong leadership, clinical decision-making, and care coordination skills. Working both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will support best-practice patient outcomes through education, quality improvement, evidence-based care, and clinical innovation across adult and paediatric emergency streams, including resuscitation and triage.

You are a confident and compassionate emergency nursing professional who thrives in fast-paced clinical environments, brings advanced clinical expertise, and is committed to delivering exceptional person-centred care in rural and isolated healthcare settings. You will have:
- Demonstrated advanced emergency nursing skills across triage, resuscitation, and acute care environments
- Strong clinical leadership with the ability to guide, support, and mentor multidisciplinary teams
- Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, and care coordination skills for complex patient presentations
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous professional development, and quality improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a genuine focus on patient, family, and team-centred care

Bayside Health Service delivers hospital and community-based healthcare across five public health campuses, including Redland Hospital, Marie Rose Centre, Wynnum Manly Community Health Centre, Pandanus Ward, and the Redlands Satellite Health Centre. Services include emergency care, primary health, acute and subacute medicine, surgery, maternity, paediatrics, and mental health care. Located in Dunwich on North Stradbroke Island, the rural and remote Marie Rose Centre operates 24/7, providing evidence-based emergency care to island residents and visitors year-round.
