You will work with dynamic senior medical staff and their teams across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service to deliver services that are of the highest standard, in an efficient and effective manner.

You will work in Neurology, providing primarily outpatient care. We anticipate that you will build on this experience and maximise on your own professional development, as well as assist in the professional development of junior medical staff and medical students. There is a rich teaching culture across the health service, with many opportunities for training around the hospital.

The Sunshine Coast is known for its beautiful beaches, hinterland scenery and subtropical climate. The Health Service is located across the Sunshine Coast region, with five hospital campuses including Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) serving a population around 500,000 people.

You will provide high quality care for our community, with a focus on collaboratively contributing within a multidisciplinary team.

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide safe and high-quality care to patients presenting to the Department of Neurosciences.
  • Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families with respect and compassion
  • Work collaboratively and respectfully across the multidisciplinary team

Salary rates: $5,155.00 - $7,189.50 p.f. or $67.82 to $94.59 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (L4 - L13) (temporary full-time position, 76 hrs p.f.) for up to 12 months. Applications will remain current for 12 months / or the duration of the vacancy.
